"Konstelacje" Nicka Payne'a
The character of Marianne made me think about love and relationships, showing that there are many ways to work out a relationship. Marianne was an extremely demanding role, she was fighting with brain cancer causing her personality to slowly degenerate. This shows us that we tend to worry about trifles. By escaping from everyday life we are forgetting to appreciate what we have. Through the portrait of Marianne, I tried to inform recipients that in life, there are many solutions and answers, and that there are many problems where love can help. The form of the performance demanded me to prepare physically. The story and spiritual journey of my character was shown through extremely intense and complex choreography. Before each performance I feel like climbing Mount Everest.
